Truth Baptist Church Membership Pledge
I believe that Christ is the head of the church, and He is sovereign in all matters of the church.
I believe that the Bible is the revelation of God’s will. It is the foundation of the church’s teachings, ministries, and administration.
I believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in the church to reproof, guide and
move.
As a member of Truth Baptist Church and a part of Christ’s body, I pledge:
1. To attend church worships and to live in the communion of saints regularly, and I will not neglect to pray for myself and others.
2. To be vigilant in leading my personal life, family life, work life and church life in accordance with the teachings of the bible, so that I may testify for Christ for the salvation of family members and friends.
3. To exercise an affectionate care and watchfulness over each other and faithfully admonish and entreat one another as occasion may require.
4. To use the gifts that God has given me to serve in the positions that the church has assigned me to so as to participate in the building up of Truth Baptist Church.
5. To submit to the church’s teachings and counsel and accept church discipline to preserve the holiness and unity of the church.
6. To tithe regularly to support the church’s operational expenses, gospel work, mission work, and to show compassion for those who are in need.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
